Memphis Tenn. Voted a great city to buy a Home.

10 cities for real-estate stealsBy Luke Mullins of U.S. News & World Report 1. Memphis, Tenn. Higher home values pushed the price-to-income ratio in Memphis to nearly 5 in the first quarter of 2006 — sharply above its 2.13 average for the 15 years ending in 2003. But the subsequent 17.5% decline in home prices has restored affordability to the market. Through the third quarter of 2009, the price-to-income ratio in Memphis was just 1.17, which is significantly below its 15-year average. But while the Memphis market appears to be stabilizing, prices may not have reached bottom yet, according to Moody's Economy.com. A large number of mortgage delinquencies threaten to bring additional inventory to the market through foreclosure. That, in turn, may drag prices still lower.

Yes. A lot of times I do feel like I need a drink. I often times have a lot of stress in my life and I think that a drink may help to temporarily disolve my misery. Sometimes it does make me feel a little more relaxed. The problem is when I drink too much. Then I just do not feel well at all. My family and my genes make me prone to alcohol addiction, and therefore I have taken steps to make sure that I do not let alcohol destroy my world. They will help you to control you desires and assist you with living "one day at a time".

Please tell me you didn't do it. I certainly hope that you have not had to learn your lesson the hard way. Have you ever invested over the phone with a high pressure salesperson? I am sorry to hear that and I wish I could have gotten this information to you prior to you losing money. You did lose money right? If anybody calls you up and prospects you to do a trade over the phone, just politely say not and hang up, or if you really wish to be nice take all their info and do your research. Nowadays you can invest online without the assistance of a broker, and you may do better. The reason is oftentimes because anybody who is desperate for you to take a position in their recommendation is more interested in themselves and their firm than ensuring your well being. Of course, to be just, this is not the case 100% of the time, only about 90% of the time. Don't do it... Period!!! Investigate anything you are doing before doing it. Another day is gone. Wow!!!

Did you ever seem to notice how time slips away? Now I am starting to understand what all of these great writers and philosophers from yesteryear meant. I really thing that it is wise to listen to people who have already experienced the process of life. I certainly am not as handsome as I once was. It is sometimes hard to let go of my youth and I really choose to hold on. A lot of the effort may be without success. I certainly understand why some people wish to have plastic surgery, although, I would rather not go down that road. I do know that excercise and reduction in stress can certainly assist a person to stay a lot younger. In addition dietary nutrition is important. One more thing. If you can get on a hormone replacement regime, with doctor's care and legal prescriptions, you will see significant results. Testosterone is Youth's best friend. Look into this. ( Hormone replacement can have negative side effects. Use at your own risk.)

Are you keeping your sanity in a down economy?

I know how it is to wake up in the morning and feel a little down. Like when your car will not start, and you lost your job or a big sale. Things are really tough right now. I think that Miami is down more than most other cities because we rely so much on the tourism dollar. I was walking along Ocean Dr. on South Beach recently and noticed that things are changing very rapidly. It looks like a lot of the fun has been sapped right out of the spirit of things there. We used to sell timeshares at the Crescent Resort on the strip, and that place has a for sale sign up and hardly any sign of life. We used to have a magical enterprise there, and it was bustling with customers. Where have all the good times gone?

Felony Convictions. Is this going to keep me from getting a good job?

Most jobs these days are going to require that you pass a drug test and a criminal background check. Should you report your prior conviction? Yes. You have no choice. If you do not report the truth, it will come back to haunt you sooner rather than later. The good news is that a lot of applications only go back five years. As time goes along, your conviction can be less and less obtrusive. If the application says "within the last 5 years" and your conviction was 6 years ago, then you do not report it. This is basically a don't ask and don't tell theorem. In other words, always tell the truth, but always read between the lines and ensure that you protect your best interests. The most important thing moving forward is that you continue to do good things, stay focused, and stay out of trouble. The criminal justice system is not a very glamorous place to be stuck. WESLEY CHAPEL - Like thousands of other Pasco County homes, the house at 31431 Glendalough Way sold to an investor in 2006 and fell into foreclosure a few years later. County records show Paul Gangadyal of New Jersey paid Lennar Corp. more than $305,000 for his piece of the Bridgewater community off Curley Road. Last November, Pasco County bought the house from Countrywide Home Loans for $144,500 - less than half the original price. By that time, the house, like many properties in investor-dominated Bridgewater, had fallen into disrepair. The purchase was part of a government-funded effort to put new owners in foreclosed homes.
