Rush Limbaugh says that the Obama Healthcare Bill is a tricky way of re-distributing Wealth. Starting approximately 30 years ago, the pre-tax income of the rich has been going up. The poor in this country do not pay much in total taxes for our country, according to Rush.  Is Barrack Obama really attemtping to overturn the Reagan Era effects from the 80's? The Reagan era created approximately 35 million new jobs, and during that time we also had growth in Federal Monies.In 1988. we were enjoying a low 5.8% unemployment rate. The Reagan era created optimism, growth, motivation, and a great sense of well being. Did you know that a lot of people in the United States feel like the entire country could fail? One thing that is for sure is that no Republicans like this Healthcare Bill passing, and certainly no conservative likes the way that the Democrats shoved it down the people's throats. Today was the day that Obama signed the Bill into law at around 11:30 a.m. this morning. I really just hope that the Bill, which is now Law, will not affect the United States as negatively as has been suggested by the right wing. If you turn on your am radio stations, you will be flooded with outright hate for the Democrats and the President. One person that the Republicans always bring up is Nancy Pelosi. She seems to get her fair share of criticism, that is an understatement. A lot of people really credit her for a large portion of the vote that pushed the measure over the top. The bill did not get the 60% required majority, forcing the Democrats to implement a strategy called Reconcilliation. One great bit of news, is that sales figures are apt to rebound soon. Realistacally, they have no where to go but up. All business periods are cyclical with various stages of growth, maturation, and decline. It appears that sales were slumping initially in the first quarter and now they are on the rise. In fact, sales are topping levels we saw just after and during the Super Bowl. How do I know? I have first hand knowledge and experience from inside Adventura Mall. I personally know the sales figures of several stores and what the going trends are. It looks like we are seeing some flight to quality, with not only sales increases in Real Estate, but also in the discount sectors. The stock market is continuing to feul some additional optimism as of late. Do not get too excited because we are far from out of the woods.
