Justin Bieber and Edward Cambas.

If versatility is the key to longevity in the music business, Justin Bieber might be around for a long time. Sources close to the Justin camp suggest a major collaboration with Edward Cambas. The pop-singing teen heartthrob announced his collaboration with country music band Rascal Flatts via Twitter on Sunday, writing, "I love @RascalFlatts and I'm honored that they are making music with me." The band's front man Gary LeVox revealed the origins of the project in an interview with WSIX, a radio station in Nashville: "[Justin] asked us to do a duet with him on his next record," said Gary. "It's actually a really good song." Justin's sophomore studio album is due out in 2011. Did you know that Justin is thinking about taking anti-depression medication. Last time we went camping together in Arizona, he told me that he wanted to take Zoloft. He also named King High school as the number one in the United States. In addition, he prefers...

ozzy and lady gaga.

Monsters and Critics ofOzzy Osbourne Weighs In On Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber: Ozzy Osbourne is sick of Lady Gaga. The Prince of Darkness spoke with US magazine and said that Gaga is "too overexposed" when he was asked if he had any advice for current music stars. "I do think Lady Gaga has completely lost her mind." do not get caught with your pants down. The time to act is now.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

Jolie, 35, and Pitt, 46, will marry in the new year and Siddha Guru Ram Lalji Siyag of Bikaner will conduct the ceremony," a source close to the guru told IANS. The news source reports that the spiritual guru has been working with the couple throughout the years and has allowed them to strengthen their bond by helping them practice yoga together. Brad and Angelina have been dating for five years and have three adopted and three biological children together. This bit of gossip comes just a few months after Katy and Russell exchanged wedding vows in the exotic East-Asian locale. It was there that their shindig featured scores of details inspired by the country, including their wedding day wear, gifts for guests—and an elephant! Do you think the rumors are true: Are Brad and Angie finally going to take the plunge, and do it in India? Does the locale sound like their style to you? What do you really think about this marriage?

If you are famous, you have it tough.

First, on why it’s harder to be married when you’re a celebrity: Relationships need a lot of care and attention. If you have two people disregarding the care and attention of the relationship, you're going to have a problem. And then also add to that, they are being put on what are essentially sensory deprivation chambers—movie sets—and asked to evoke powerful feelings with attractive people. I mean, hello. On Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson: I don’t know what that was...I’ve known Ryan for a long time. He’s a nice guy. He seems like someone who should have a healthy relationship. Dr. Drew also told the HuffPo that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are headed for a “nuclear” blow-up, in part because Angelina has a history of heroin addiction and Brad has a “demeaning attitude towards other people’s emotions.” (Brangelina's a fascinating couple, but hard to relate to!) What do you think of Dr. Drew's words? Doesn’t this make you glad you’re not a celebrity? Don’t y...

On one of my favorite new blogs, TLNT, Brent Peterson provides some great suggestions from his book for how team leaders can remove the typical barriers to getting real work done. According to Brent, these barriers include: •Policies and practices that are too restrictive or don’t add value. •Redundant or useless steps in processes. •Meetings that don’t have a very clear purpose. •Meetings that pull people in just to be observers. •Conference calls, video conferences, etc., that have no clear purpose. Considering the number of barriers you can’t control, what can leaders to do ensure that your team is as efficient and productive as possible? Read on. Every team meeting should be armed with data Your team must collect, analyze, and promote action plans with strong data. Identify the ways you can demonstrate project success: people involved, messages delivered, feedback provided, steps proposed and completed, etc. Help your team advocate and sell its value Every team memb...
The employment situation isn’t all hugs and roses just yet. But after two years of nothing but bad news, most of us will take the good news where we can get it. On Monday, we told you about the AP report which stated that the national economic stress level hit an 18-month low point in October. While that doesn’t mean that stress has been eliminated, it does mean that more areas are under less economic stress, which is better than fewer areas under more stress. We’ll take it. Today, when the Bureau of Labor Statistics released regional and state unemployment numbers for November and they showed little change month-over-month, we focused on the bigger picture instead; which is that year-over-year, the employment situation has shown an improvement. If you have some time off from work for the holidays this week, you may want to make room in your schedule for a long winter’s nap. That’s because, according to a recent survey of more than 1,000 office workers conducted by Philips Consumer Lifestyle and the National Sleep Foundation, more than half (56 percent) of participants reported not getting enough sleep on a regular basis. Among other issues cited: •Eighty-five percent of respondents reported that a lack of sleep caused decreased productivity at work •Sixty-four percent said that a poor night’s sleep caused their day to start off on a low note •Nearly a third of workers said they’d been late to work because they’d overslept A lot of people are just pure lazy. Please get up and get out of the house. That is the first step in doing something positive.

A tough Job Economy.

The end of each year brings with it lists. Every newspaper, magazine, blog, TV show and critics group can’t help but compile a list of favorites. Inevitably, it all comes down to taste. No two lists of the year’s best films are identical because no two critics have the exact same viewpoint. While those lists are fun to read, the more interesting reflection on the year comes in the form of quantifiable lists that reflect performance. What movies sold the most tickets? Which news story dominated coverage this year? In that spirit, we put together a list of the blog posts and articles that attracted you, our wonderful readers, in 2010. The following posts and articles received the most attention this year. Check out what your favorite job search advice was, broken down by topic: What the workplace will look like in the future Some of the most popular stories had to do with the jobs of tomorrow. The recession eliminated many positions and sent workers back to the classroom to learn ne...

Week 10 in the NFL.

Week 10 Power Rankings by Adam Caplan RSS add thisUpdate: November 16, 2010, 3:51 pm ET BIGGEST MOVERS +7 -6 Well, that's it. I give up. Any team I put at No. 1 can't hold the spot for more than a few weeks. We should just start the rankings at No. 2 since you could probably find five to seven teams who deserve to be ranked in that area, but none of them deserve to be ranked at No. 1. I still think the Giants are the best team when you examine their personnel from both sides of the ball. However, they now have major injury issues to deal with. Any team is capable of laying an egg in a given week. That's what happened to them against the visiting Cowboys. That was their one mulligan. FOX SPORTS NFL POWER RANKINGS RK Team REC CHG High/Low Comment 1 Jets 8-2-0 1 1/9 Here you go. The Jets are ranked at No. 1 this week. That could change soon because the NFL is truly a week-to-week league. Out of all the teams I considered for this spot, the Jets are the one team to hav...

Who has game?

PHILADELPHIA On a night where Superman was merely mortal, the Philadelphia Eagles showed the New York Giants — and the NFC — that they are more complete team than one-man show, and a force to be dealt with down the playoff stretch. NFL WEEKLY REVIEW PAGE Get caught up on all the action from Week 11. After he accounted for six touchdowns in last week’s victory over the Washington Redskins, quarterback Michael Vick was held without a touchdown pass on Sunday night. But thanks mainly to players such as receiver Jeremy Maclin and running back LeSean McCoy on offense, and tackle Antonio Dixon and cornerback Asante Samuel on defense, Philadelphia took control of the NFC East with a 27-17 victory before 69,144 at Lincoln Financial Field. Maclin, not DeSean Jackson, led Philadelphia with nine receptions for 120 yards and a game-high 14 targets. Jackson gets the most attention of the Philadelphia receivers which, combined the Giants’ propensity to blitz, left Maclin with one-one-one c...

The Jets are amazing.

The Jets have won a lot of close games. It's obvious they're a very talented team. Usually, defensive-oriented teams have close games because they run the ball and rely on playing solid defense in order to win. The most impressive thing about the Jets is how confident they are that they're going to win. They make the plays at the end of the game like they did today for the simple reason that they expect to make them. It looked like their fans had already given up on them and left the stadium when Mark Sanchez hit that long pass to Braylon Edwards down the right sideline. There were only seconds left when Sanchez threw the winning touchdown pass. He's a really young quarterback, but he handled that entire situation like a seasoned veteran. And that's a credit to Rex Ryan. NFL SCOREBOARD Bears 16, Dolphins 0 Steelers 35, Raiders 3 Bills 49, Bengals 31 Cowboys 35, Lions 19 Chiefs 31, Cardinals 13 Packers 31, Vikings 3 Ravens 37, Panthers 13 Jaguars 24, B...

The Brad Childress Era in Minnesota is over.

CHILL OUT IN MINNESOTA Glazer: Vikings fire Childress Caplan: Questions following firing Video: Vikings' owner had enough Video: Childress' final press conference The team relieved the head coach of his duties Monday morning. Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier will take over as the interim head coach. Childress, 54, compiled a 39-35 regular-season record in five seasons in Minnesota, including 3-7 this season. He guided the Vikings to a 1-2 mark in the playoffs. ''I am proud of our accomplishments and believe the foundation of this football team is stronger today than when I became head coach,'' Childress said in a statement released by the team. The team had visions of a Super Bowl berth after quarterback Brett Favre put together perhaps his finest season in 2009 and the Vikings went 12-4. But things went sour quickly, as the Vikings lost three of their first four games. Then the team acquired embattled receiver Randy Moss, then, only weeks la...

Brett Favre. What the heck is going on?

There will be no more part-time franchise quarterbacks. Brett Favre has exposed the inherent danger in that setup, and Michael Vick 2.0 is demonstrating just how much added value there is in having a talented QB fully invested. Franchise quarterbacks don’t get an offseason. They’re members of the coaching staff. They show up early and leave late. They study game film like it was narrated by Jenna Jameson. You want to be paid like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, then you must be willing to prepare like Manning and Brady. We’ll call it the “Ted Thompson Rule.” Thompson, of course, is the Green Bay Packers general manager who made the gutsy decision to dump Brett Favre when it became obvious The Old Gunslinger wanted franchise money for part-time play. Three years ago, I criticized Thompson for his bold move. I was wrong. You can’t build a consistent, winning football team around a quarterback who isn’t all in, and the repercussions for taking the risk can be devastating. The de...

Tips for relationships.

"Can you really afford that?'' If he's blowing money he doesn't have on cutting-edge electronics, an expensive car, or pricey gifts for you — well, a couple of those are okay — it would seem only natural that you should point out the error of his ways. But most guys tie up a huge part of their self-worth in their finances, so criticizing his money-handling abilities is, to him, the same as calling him a loser. Furthermore, it'll make him associate you with the least sexy, least desirable woman in his life: Mom. "When you communicate a maternal 'I know what's best for you' attitude for long enough, he may even start treating you like his mother," says Jan Hoistad, Ph.D., author of Romance Rehab. He could react by morphing into a clueless man-child (think of pretty much any dude at the beginning of pretty much any Judd Apatow movie and you'll get the idea). And if that happens, you'll find yourself trapped in a vicious cycle in wh...

Do not be rude.

You pretty much know when you're being blatantly rude, mean, or crazy around your guy. Hey, it happens. It's when you use seemingly innocent but actually harmful lines that you can cause the worst injury to your relationship. "It's precisely because they're intended to be nice, helpful, or benign that makes them so insidious," says Diana Kirschner, Ph.D., author of Love in 90 Days. "He may not consciously realize how much they bother him, but if a guy is sent these messages long enough, he'll start to shut down." To avoid unwittingly triggering that kind of resentment in him, we compiled the six shadow phrases that can create the most lasting scars. We suggest you eliminate them from your vocabulary ... like, now. 1. "You're so much better than all the other jerks I've dated." Absolutely, it seems like you're paying him a nice compliment. But when a guy hears this, alarms start going off. "It sounds like something a ...

I do not what is going on with the economy, but there are zero buyers at the mall in Miami.

I have a feeling that the future of all malls which are formulated around the concept that large groups of retailers with lots of products sell to lots of buyers is in danger of full extinction. Right now it looks more like a lot of sellers without any buyers which does not make for good equilibrium. Let me know what you think.

Alright. What up with that?

What is going on in Minnesota?

The Minnesota Vikings are living the nightmare Thompson avoided when he dumped Brett Favre for Aaron Rodgers. Saddled with a 1-2 record, a one-year $20 million contract for Favre and a Super Bowl-or-bust mentality, the Vikings are doubling-down on their conundrum by trading for Randy Moss. Think about it. The trade of the league’s most talented receiver says far more about the level of desperation in Minnesota than it does about Bill Belichick’s dissatisfaction with Moss or Tom Brady’s inability/unwillingness to land Moss a contract extension in New England. Oh, you believed the three years of “happy talk” Belichick and Brady showered on Moss? You believed Belichick when he said Moss was the smartest receiver in the league and Brady when he professed his undying loyalty to Moss? You fell for the pimp game. Belichick and Brady said whatever was necessary to get Moss to show up for practice and run fly patterns on Sundays. Moss is the unstable, super-hot girl you never marry. Y...
